He is also a part-time lecturer with the Department of Obsterics and Gynecology at the University of Ghana Medical School.

After his GCE 'A' level education at Mfantsipim School (Cape Coast, Ghana),he gained admission into the University of Ghana Medical School where he graduated with MB.ChB - Credit in Biochemistry.

Currently the Managing Director Of GSMF International, Mr. Alex Banful has over 20 years of experience in the private sector in Ghana. GSMF International is a non- profit organization using behavior change techniques to motivate and empower families & individuals to achieve an improved quality of life. Mr. Alex Banful is responsible for the overall strategic development and direction of the organization responsible for “Life Choice” a family planning campaign and “Stop Aids, Love Life”an hiv/aids pre-planning campaign.

Mrs Banful is a trained nurse and midwife with over eight years working experience in both Ghana and South Africa. Mrs. Banful also owns and manages a boutique and designing school with the managerial skills she acquired while in private practice.
